Tata Nexon facelift exterior design has been unveiled || ibccnews
The Tata Nexon Facelift's final form, created by a computer for a preview, is here with us. It will bring noticeable changes to Nexon's current appearance, as we can see in the Curvv and Harrier EV concepts. Stylistic elements from Curvv and Harrier EV concepts will likely make their way into Nexon's current design language. This is the second facelift for the Nexon, and the Harrier that is expected to arrive in the coming months can also borrow elements from the Safari facelifts. We are examining these details closely, comparing them with the previous model's design, and how they have evolved.
Tata Nexon Facelift Exterior Design
The first noticeable change in the newly updated Nexon is its front design. Apart from being more angular, it differs significantly from most facelifts, limiting changes to soft parts only. Tata Motors has also made some metal sheet changes, as seen in some sheets near the bonnet and front fenders. In reality, the facelift will come as an entirely different model as if it is working hard to move forward with any aesthetic component, making the front-end look distinctive.
For example, take the bonnet and front fender; it appears that these changes are aimed at accommodating the new split headlamp setup. The bonnet itself seems more muscular, which gives it a more rugged look, while the front fenders have been tweaked to integrate with the new headlamp design better. Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) are now part of the grilles' chrome border, giving it a more pronounced appearance. All these details point to a more angular and aggressive front design.
Moving downwards, the front bumper appears wider and taller, housing the main headlamp cluster and fog lamps. The primary C-shaped design element seen in the Nexon's current design, particularly in the window line, seems to have been carried over into this facelift. However, it appears that the Nexon now features a redesigned lower grille with a thicker chrome band, accentuated by elements like the DRLs running along with it.
The lower part of the bumper also looks more pronounced, along with significant design motifs like the skid plate and faux dual exhaust tips, suggesting that it is aimed at a more muscular appearance. The bumper's lower part now includes some added design elements, like a lip that extends under the headlamp clusters, giving it a more rugged look. If you were surprised about the rear bumper, you'll find a similar design motif in the roofline. The lower part of the Nexon's exterior design features a Y-shaped design element in its cladding, which extends below the edges. While you won't find any contrasting bands like the ones you see on the Tata Nexon's current design, the Y-shaped design motif that appears in the roofline cladding has now been entirely omitted in the new model.
As for the rear bumper, it looks wider and taller, with significant design elements like reflectors integrated into it. The prominent C-shaped design element on the tail lamps, which provides a 3-point star effect similar to what you see in the Hyundai Tucson, is now featured prominently on the Nexon. The third facelift for the Nexon has eliminated that entirely. While the Nexon's design includes elements like the blacked-out finish grille with chrome accents, it's the roof-mounted spoiler that stands out. It provides an overall sportier appearance and complements the tail-lamp cluster's Y-shaped design motif, which no longer loops over the top. The new Nexon features five-spoke alloy wheels with a unique design that incorporates a thin L-shaped band around the edges, providing a striking contrast.
The Tata Nexon Facelift Interior Design
The updates to the Nexon's interior are as comprehensive as the exterior, with a large touchscreen, a newly designed central control panel, a digital instrument cluster, a new dashboard, and an extensively redesigned steering wheel.
